Broomfield, Larimer, and Weld Counties also fall within its boundaries.
Education by Design. This is one of the mission statements of St. Vrain Valley School District. And, this is exactly how Integrated Learning Academy differs from every other tutoring company. We teach the way each student learns and develop lasting relationships with our students and families while providing them with lifelong learning tools. Integrated Learning Academy was selected to provide Title 1 tutoring to the St. Vrain Valley school district during the 2011-12 school year. This was the last year St. Vrain chose to hire out of district tutoring companies for students in need of improving reading levels and Colorado state testing scores. We tutored small groups of children (1-5 student teacher ratio) in literacy while teaching them what brain gym movements to use in order to read more fluently and increase comprehension skills. Additionally, we implemented Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory in order to teach our students HOW they learn easiest, drawing out their natural learning styles in order for every child to reach full potential. The program was a huge hit, across all levels and age groups.
